Craniosacral therapy is a manual therapy. It is a part of osteopathy. The cerebrospinal fluid usually vibrates in a constant rhythm which is called the craniosacral pulse. If there are blockages the rhythm changes. During a craniosacral therapy the blockages are treated in the area of the head (cranium) and sacrum. The therapist works with gentle pull and compression with his hands.
